Colour Inc's green credentials shoot through the roof with acquisition of a Xerox 700 digital colour press. Colour Inc's new Xerox colour press is specifically configured to use environmentally friendly soya based ink.
"Using ink that is grown from soya beans certainly seems environmentally friendly to me!" Observed Colour Inc's Production Manager, Debbie Paddock.

Printing at 2400*2400 dpi the Xerox 700 Colour Press produces superior image quality, giving:
- smooth colour sweeps
- sharp high resolution photographs
- crisp clean text
- outstanding gradients
- fine detail
The superior output quality gives a smooth, offset-like matte finish with outstanding shadow detail and superior half tones.
Tight front to back registration allows accurate two sided work, which is particularly important for post cards, business cards and catalogues.
The integrated document finisher includes saddle stitch booklet making, stapling, folding and hole punching functionality.
Finally, the smart decurler module takes into account toner coverage and humidity and then applies the most appropriate pressure to ensure the flattest output.
